Live Your Dream

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families. It gives them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects.

Patsy Mink

​

​Named in memory of Patsy Mink, the first woman of color in Congress and the driving force behind "Title IX," the Equal Opportunity in Education Act. This scholarship provides funds for high school age women recommended by their local school. There is no application for this scholarship.

Dream It, Be It

​

​Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls will help girls grow up to be strong, successful, happy adults. Dream It, Be It targets girls in secondary school who face obstacles to their future success. It provides girls with access to professional role models, career education, and the resources to live their dreams.

Citizenship Award

 

​​Soroptimist International of Phoenixville will award the annual Citizenship Scholarship to a graduating female high school senior who has demonstrated a commitment to her community through volunteerism and philanthropy.

Academic Scholarship ​​

 

The Soroptimist International of Phoenixville Academic Scholarship provides $1,000 financial assistance to a local female high school senior who has exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity, who has maintained strong academic performance, and who aspires to pursue higher education.

Tammy Klotzbach

​

Tammy Klotzbach was a beloved sister of Soroptimist for many years. She led her life with integrity, community service, and a commitment to serving others. This scholarship provides financial assistance to a local female high schooler who exhibits the same characteristics as Tammy did.

Arts Scholarship

​

​The Soroptimist International of Phoenixville Arts Scholarship provides $1,000 financial assistance to a local female high school senior who has exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity, who has demonstrated a passion and a commitment to the arts, and who aspires to pursue higher education in the area of the arts.
